We’ll stop the corruption of the billionaire class that has their hand in our pockets. Every time we go pump a tank of gas, every time we go to the grocery store, or go pick up a prescription for a sick child, somebody is taking their cut and stock-piling obscene mountains of money off our backs.
Billionaires and big corporations must pay their taxes.
You pay your taxes out of your paycheck every week. We all do- the working class, the middle class, the professional class and small businesses. Doctors, lawyers, farmers, fast food managers- we all pay our taxes.
Who doesn't pay their taxes? Billionaires, the ultra rich, heartless and unconscious corporations. And not only will they not pay their fair share, they want your money. They want control of your taxes to spend on their bombs, to spend on their prison warehouses, to spend on their data centers. This is a brazen power grab that can go on no longer.
Freedom is for People, not power.
Politicians must do the work of We the People, not serve the corporate greed and billionaire’s schemes that chew us up and spit us out without a second look. Authoritarian tough guys want a warped America that's just for them. They have schemed and connived and corrupted their way to push back on progress for people: women's suffrage, labor laws to protect children, civil rights, the labor movement, freedom of expression- all protected under the law but now under serious attack by bought-and-paid-for politicians.
When we have our freedom, people can put the greedy few back in their place, and that’s why billionaires and their authoritarian accomplices are scheming to bring back a world without liberty and justice for all. When the powerful few talk about making America something again, it's only great for them.
We must hold perpetrators and criminals accountable.
The scourge of abuse and exploitation that is running amok among the powerful must and will be stopped. Women and children are not toys for the depraved to abuse and discard. We will no longer allow people anywhere to be owned, traded, used, and abused; not for obscene profit, not for obscene perversion.
Protect Social Security and Medicare from cuts that would harm retirees

We’ll bring down costs and make it easier to take care of the things that matter.
Groceries and Household Goods
Trumpflation created by chaotic tariffs, shipping and fertilizer shortages must become things of the past.
Housing
We all deserve a place to call home. Whether your dream is to raise children, retire in dignity, or share daily life with your loved ones, owning a home and being part of a community builds strong people and generational stability. We must unleash our ingenuity and purpose to build new housing that embraces bringing together low cost energy solutions, people centered planning, and pricing efficiencies.
Raising the minimum wage.
Doubling the current minimum wage is an absolute: $15/hour as a floor with automatic cost of living adjustments and increases built into the law. But that’s not enough. We must protect small businesses with access to credit, fair markets, and reduced bureaucratic burden. Small businesses and start-ups can be protected by creating a fund that helps pay people while new businesses get off the ground and existing businesses adopt people centered success agendas.
Lowering taxes for ordinary people.
It’s time for ordinary people to get a break. Increasing payroll taxes means less money for average families week after week. It’s time for tax relief to flow in the right direction. Too often people struggling to create a stable life are hit the hardest when they need a break.
It’s time for common sense to create a better way to help people get ahead:
Anyone fighting to take care of themselves and their family at the poverty line deserves to take home their whole paycheck.
Families with young children and low income need to keep their pay, not just get credits once a year.
The burden sharing of funding social security must be spread thinner over a larger range of income that continues further into the upper levels, not just lie heavy on the shoulders of the working class.

We won’t let anyone profit off making us sick, or off selling us cures.
Our for-profit health insurance system is a national tragedy.
We pay more than any other country in the developed world, with little to show for it: low life expectancy, long wait times, and spiraling costs.
Our nation’s foundational promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in modern life requires access to healthcare. We all deserve good health and excellent medical care. Our health is not a thing to be earned or dispensed as a perk for the privileged few. I’ve watched health insurance dig larger and larger chunks out of our middle class paychecks while needed services and medicines are carved out of coverage to protect corporate bottom lines. But it’s not just stress on working Americans, every single person in this country deserves good healthcare, no matter who you are.
The Poison to Profit Pipeline
Big oil's getting us sick. Big pharma makes the medicine. The insurance industry rakes in the premiums and rations the care. Our hard earned tax money subsidizes these industries so they can steal our money, poison us, and leave our medicine cabinet bare. We are paying them to rip us off. I’ll take on the lying fossil fuel industry and the scheming sickness-for-profit industry.
I am dedicated to establishing a true American quality of life as we strip the for-profit insurance system of power and deliver free healthcare that will save lives, money, and restore strength to our people
Free necessary medical care is better for America than elective war-mongering.
No one should have to worry about a loved one dying from a preventable and treatable illness, or chemotherapy putting you into bankruptcy, or a $600 inhaler just so your grandchild can breathe. That's an absolute.
We are done with the lie that our nation can’t afford good health and excellent medical care. If billions of dollars worth of bombs can be dropped on Iran, go into debt for it, and then ask us for trillions more so they can re stockpile and then drop more bombs, this nation can afford healthcare. Those bombs could be our healthcare money, folks. They don't need to lie to us anymore, we’ve seen the reality.
Prioritizing, not Defunding
Republican leaders here in Tennessee made a strategic choice to snub their noses at the billions of dollars set aside for ordinary people, just to say no to Obamacare. They forced rural hospitals to close, heaping a huge burden on the hospitals in our cities, and robbed Tennesseans of the close-by emergency rooms that save lives. This ideological approach to defunding healthcare made accessing long term treatments even more exhausting and costly for sufferers and their families. In the Senate, I will join with other leaders of vision to make sure no one in Tennessee is more than 30 minutes from the care they need.
